malaria prevention and flight checkin

Today is the day..

Start the malaria prevention medicine.

We do not want this again, so I will happily take that medicine.

Next up, tonight is the 48 hour window to checkin for flight.  

Wait, that means I am down to a couple days to take off.  I am packed, but will review luggage and weights tonight to ensure I have what I need.  

So, soon I will be off to see my new Kenyan friends.

This is the week

Oh, how I have waited for this week to get here. 

To say I'm excited to serve the Lord in Kenya, is a dream come true.

Kenya has been in my heart for as long as I can remember.   

I love the animals, that is what initially drew me to the country.  Then I was able to spend some time observing OCC ministry in Kenya and I fell in love. 

I felt at home and never got homesick.  That is the Lord.

I'm excited to see what he does in my heart this year as I go with a different group and get to do ministry differently. 

Please check this site for updates.  I'll try my best to update daily,  as I have wifi, of course.  

Please pray for the team, there are 11 of us going.

Pray for safety during our travels.

Pray for good health and no sickness.

Pray that the gospel will be preached with power and hearts receptive to his love.

I just ask that anytime the Lord bring our team to your mind that you stop then and pray for us.

There is still time to give financially if you feel led to do so.
