Kenya here I come

Heading back to Kenya in June 2026 with Take Heart Africa, a fair trade shop in Lakeland, FL, that has a ministry in Kenya.

During the trip, we will be ministering to widows, orphans, and students by taking part in student conferences, building relationships with orphans, and seeing how the empowerment of widows is making a difference in Kenyan lives. The two-week trip will include ministry in Nairobi and an eight-hour journey outside the capital to a village where a school is being built. Our accommodations will be in a village conference center located at the school and orphanage.

Last year, I met so many wonderful students and look forward to seeing them again soon. To see how there faith has grown in the Lord, how they have overcome obstacles they thought were in their way and just how the Lord is moving amongst his children.

The focus of the trip is sharing the love of Jesus and empowering widows through entrepreneurship opportunities so they can provide for their families.

I would be incredibly grateful if you would like to partner with me on this trip. For more information, please contact me and I can share directly how you can partner with me.

Thank you for your continued support in my pursuit to engage in God's work wherever He is leading.

2026 has been full already

It's official.  The month of March is almost over, we are almost ready to start the 2nd quarter of the year.

Wait.

Where has the time gone?

Seems like we just celebrated New Years Day.

It's been a busy three months.

In January, I took some much needed time away and had some fun in the theme parks.  I had the privilege of going to EPIC UNIVERSE with my friends, Randall, Laura, Kenny, Meredith, Kennedy and Brydon.  It was such a fun day.  Even if, I did end up having an EoE episode.  Oh, how I hate those.  I never know what will trigger an event, so I hate eating out at new locations as I never know how something will affect me.

Next up was another weekend getaway, this time with the Eastside youth group.  Headed to Rock the Universe over at Universal Studios.  Another great time in the parks, but with the added bonus of some great Christian music.

Next up was February, which seems like a blur because the month is short.  It was a great month, as my sweet mama celebrated her 92nd birthday.

Now we are into March already, spent an afternoon at my uncles house celebrating his 90th birthday.

Here we are on Resurrection Sunday.

The year is flying by and before I know it I'll be back in Kenya for a short visit.

Please pray as I prepare for this years trip.

If you would like updates, let me know.
